''Elephanta'' Place to be

Indeed a lovely place to be not very far of from mumbai can complete your journey within a day. Boating for a short while leads you to a lovealy island.

But, you definately need to be healthy enough to climb those steps. A easy way to loose weight but definately not in summers.

All your efforts are utilised used when you find yourself in those lovely gigantic scluptors. Huge stones and , artistic stone work by artist of those time leaves you astonished. Idols seem to be speaking you are stunned by great work of the artist .

There is also an historical guidance center guiding tourist about the historical significance of that place.

Lovely ambience, you feel your self away from that huge city crowd and relaxed.

Once you move out of the caves and walk ahead you find heavy growth of trees.

Feels great walking in those trees finding your way out in the forest.

You can find different tribes residing near the outskirts of this caves.

There language, dressing habits, food, ways of celebrating festival are quiet different from us. In short looks good to know about different tribes and meeting them.

You remain stunned admiring the scenic beauty of the place when you climb up and freach to a height were you bsee yourself on a peace of land surrounded on all sides by water.

Only thing which you wont like is the saline water you get for drinking and monkeys that scare you no question if you are an animal lover.

Only thing you need is great stamina and some money and some time as everything in life has a price this are you essentials for elephanta.

Simple way of refreshing oneself of the busy schedule just in a day.

Place to be once .
