We purchased the chimney a couple of months back. Since then, the chimney has turned out to be a complete failure. Whenever we cook something in the kitchen, our house gets filled with the smoke. This is while the chimney is running at the maximum speed. The chimney suction rating is 1000 and our exhaust pipe is just 6-7 ft long. Ergonomically, chimney looks good with push buttons etc. but is useless for its job.
We have registered the complaint with Elica customer care multiple times. Every time we get the assurance that someone will visit us within 48 hours but that’s not happening. As it stands today, this chimney is turning out to be a liability rather than any utility and we don’t know what to do with this fancy black metal in our house.
I don’t recommend any one purchasing this chimney both for the product quality and the service quality.
