I recieved a tube of Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick for a gift 2 years ago. A friend of mine said that she had a tube, and loved it. It was her favorite lipstick, and she had bought multiple tubes. She bought me a really great red color.
Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick comes in a black tube. It contains .14 oz or 4 grams. The lipstick has a well rounded slanted tip. It makes it easy to apply. I had no problems with applying the lipstick. It’s soft, but not too soft that it will run. I have not noticed any feathering or bleeding.

Claims & Reality
Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick is actually really creamy and moist. When I applied the lipstick this plush formula acutally made my lips feel like suede. It is not oily or greasy feeling. I have noticed that the formula is really thick, even with the first coat. Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick’s formula is really smooth, and the smoothness of the lipstick lasts throughout the day long after the lipstick has worn off. The staying power is great. The lipstick lasts about 3 or 4 hours. Sometimes it even lasts as much as five hours. With all the new shine lipsticks that are on the market today; This formula doesn’t even compare. Even though the lipstick states, This lipstick provides lips with moisturization and moisture retention with staying power and intense shine The shine isn’t the shinest of lipsticks though. It does have a matte lipstick shine; meaning it has a little shine, but it’s not too intense.
Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick really has good points- The lipstick provides soft lips for hours, even though the lipstick has faded away. The lipstick has a great matte formula that doesn’t bleed or feather. The lipstick glides on soft, and it only takes one coat. The Lipstick is quite expensive, it comes in at about $16.50-$17.00 a tube, which I think is totally worth it. The lipstick comes in quite a few colors.

My Experince
If I had the money I would buy every single color that is possible in Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick . So far the only negative thing about this lipstick is it’s price. At $16.50 a tube it’s almost double the price of an drug store lipstick. Again the postitive things about this product are how long it lasts- I have noticed it last about 3 to 5 hours at one time even through eating & drinking. The plush formula makes lips so soft for hours. It don’t bleed or feather.

A: Yes This lipstick last about 3 - 5 hours. The lipstick will come off on your glass or when you kiss, but only the first time. The lipstick that sets into the lips last, but the lipstick on the top of the lips will come off when you drink, eat, kiss (etc.) But this is only the first time.
Q: Does this lipstick Really provide softness after the lipcolor is gone?
A: Yes... But you will need to apply the lipstick every eight hours or so to keep the softness effect.

A: Since you will only need one coat of lipstick, this lipstick has lasted me over a year and a half. This lipstick lasts so long because you don’t need much of it.
Q: If you had the money ($$$) Would you buy another tube of this?
A: The way I can tell if I can tell if a product is great or not is if I would buy another... (or ask for one as a gift).. and the answer is yes. If I had the money I would buy all the colors. I love the fact that this lipstick is soft, moisturizing and lasts a fair amount of time.
In conclusion I think every woman should own a tube of Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick . There are plenty of different colors to choose from so I’m sure you will find a perfect color. It does everything a lipstick should do. It’s soft, Smooth, and lasts long. It has no offensive taste or smell. It’s not oily or greasy. It’s One of the best lipsticks I tried, and I use atleast once a week for about 2 years.
