Emirates customer service and baggage handling nig

This is my second complaint in the past month with your said airline . First it was rude staff onboard( this is the ref of the first complaintRef No: DXB/X/AC/240716/7139802) and now it is the baggage. I was flying to prague via dxb on 4th August by EK525, upon reaching dxb we missed our flight onwards to prague due to the delay caused because of the ongoing fiasco of the crash .


We were stuck in Dubai and finally managed to get a flight back to India on the 6th of August EK570 going to Calcutta . Our flight was scheduled at 2:05 am, I reached the airport at 7pm on 5th Aug to make sure that my bag is loaded on the flight I did everything as instructed by your airline team at the airport but upon arrival my bag was missing .Even before boarding I checked with the Gate Incharge Mr.Ghulam Mohammed and he checked in the system and said sir it’s showing one bag and you will get it in Kolkatta but to no avail


I launched a PIR with Calcutta which was further transferred to Hyderabad as my origin for the Dubai flight was Hyd and final destination for my return was bombay.


I have been following up with your helpline and spoke to various people named Sharmeen, Riyaz, Ruhana, Purell, and others to trace my baggage, details and communication of which can be found on my PIR .All of the above mentioned advisors tried calling the airport team but nobody answered the phones and all I get to hear was a sorry.


Finally today 13th August I collected my bag from Air India staff from the Airport and not Emirates because the Emirates staff did not bother to collect the bag from next door even after the air India people informing them to do so. I again called the call centre and spoke to Karan Shetty and informed him about the status of my bag at 7:25pm and asked him to document it.


2days ago the lady from Hyderabad Airport Ms.Aruna called me stating the bag is in Hyd and so I told her that the bag is supposed to be delivered to bombay where I stay as that was my final destination, it reached bombay by air India. The staff called the Emirates baggage team to pick the bag but nobody came to do so, your call centre sent emails to the airport team to action it still no reply, they tried calling them still no reply, I tried calling your airport desk infinite times no one answers the phone. This scenario has been going on since the 6th of August.

From the 4th of August I have received my bag now on 13th August and not received I have picked it myself and incurred more expense as waste of time in doing the entire above expenses of making calls and mentally being harassed .


the delay and the harassment that has been caused to me by your airline, your staff at the airport are absolutely incompetent and irresponsible, there are various complaint of Emirates customer service and I myself I’m going to post this same email on trip advisor and mouth shut and quora and tell them how customers are taken for a ride due to bad customer service.
