I heard about the airline’s good record, and decided to fly on ek last year, even when they had no deal to offer, the fact that they had direct flights to dxb, more frequency also made me decide in their favour.
when the day of flight came, the flight got delayed by 5 hours, no anouncements were made to economy class passengers, we couldnt even go of to sleep, as we kept wondering when the flight would take off0430 in the morning is not a convenienrt time to fly, they did offer refreshments , even then they wouldnt advise when the flight would actually leave, it left finally at 0915 hours, a bad experience and waste of money -could have used an airline who offered a deal , and saved some money..
