We just flew from Washington DC to NY to Cochin via Dubai with a 6 week old infant on 15th Feb. We had connections from washington DC to New York. After checking in all our luggage and procedding to the gate, we ( My wife and I ) were told our Delta flight to Newyork was cancelled!!. This meant we were sure to miss our Emirates flight from Newyork.
We immediately got on the phone with Emirates, and after a long 2 hour cell phone discussion with their Dubai office, they managed to find us reservations on a flight leaving later in the day. This was all the more commendable since they also had to accomodate the baby.
The flight in itself was great. The cabin crew were just awesome( I’ll admit , we did not feel the same about the crew on our return leg.).
They regularly checked on the baby and were very supportive in general. The food was great too. The onflight entertainment system was great. The leg space is nothing great and is comparable to most other airlines.
If not for the connection flights (Delta Sucks) and if Emirates flew from Washington DC, We’ll definitely fly Emirates for Life.
