Too good to be true!

Emirates airlines, well, it really stands out to be a royal airline.

I happen to travel on Emirates flight from US to India, thanks to the goof up by my travel agent (typical of Indian travel agents in US).

I just liked the reception, when I entered the flight. She (air hostess) was so sweet with her welcome greeting and pretty too.

Just after 5 minutes, another lady came over and asked my food preference. Well, I forgot to reconfirm my reservation and so the food preference. She saw my name (with asian style) and observed the missing food preference. Immediately she confirmed the preference with me and mae sure that it get circulated to all my connection flights till hyderabad. So nice na..

Then, I have this habit of drinking lot of water on flights, especially long international flights. The hostess was so patient with me giving water so many times. It is just unusual experience as compared to my other experiences with NW or Delta or Lufthansa et al. I still remember a response on a NW flight where she said, she has to help all 400 or so passengers and not me alone, in a crude & rude way. I agree to it but I disagree to hear it so nasty way!

When we were about to reach london, she came to me with a paper tagged with compliments. It seems they do this for the first time traveler to their airline. God know, how could they check this..that too with indianised (longish) names. The paper consists of connecting flight terminal numbers both at london and dubai, before reaching bombay.

Then comes the TV and entertainment stuff. I had the personalized TV, with 10 game options in addition. So personalized!

Bottom line, I just love traveling Emirates and I traveled on them many times now.

Thanks Emirates for having me.
