Wayanad is beautiful. If you are one who loves to be lost amidst nature, Wayanad is the place to be. As for Ente Veedu, I won’t quite recommend this home stay. The owners are undoubtedly hospitable but I sure won’t say that it is’value for money’. The bamboo hut and the presentation on their website is rather enticing which unfortunately is not half as real. The rooms need to be done up and maintained with more refined taste while the mosquito menace needs to be attended too as well. The typical Kerala cuisine is authentic and tasty while chapathi’s and sabzi, are to be tried at your own risk.
Meals are charged separately from that of the room costs. It ideally must be included in the room costs. The banana, pepper and paddy fields are a sight to watch from the open sit out in the Bamboo Hut.
On the whole an average place that has the potential to be made very tourist friendly and attractive.
