I just finished reading Envy today in class and I thought that it was very well written and just a great book overall. The plot was very well written. It told you just enough to know what was going on but not enough to ruin the surprise of what wad to happen next. The writing was so well written so well that I felt like I was actually there in Grace, CA. Its plot was well thought out and executed which made it even better, and the characters got more and more interesting as the chapters went on.
This book also takes place in the little hick town of Grace. It is still in present day and again many places in their town. They dont spend as much time at school anymore, as they did in the first book. In "Envy", we were in the locker room a good part in the book and in Beths house while Beth and Kane study for the Act. The authors main purpose for writing this book was to entertain her audience. I think she achieved that goal and more. Everyone I have talked to that has read her series the Seven Deadly Sins has only had good things to say about it nice.
