Envy - Sandra Brown

Sandra Brown’s ENVY.  It is an absolute must-read novel. It was an intelligent balance of romance and suspense.  It’s different and it’s amazing. You just will not get bored. Let me say I think it’s her best work ever. From the first to the last word you will be glued to her perfectly-timed suspense.

Envy begins with a prologue from Parker’s Envy. The imaginary book is just as fascinating as Brown’s work. Parker uses his manuscript to lure Maris, and readers will be spellbound by his story as well.  You can connect with the characters on a personal level and somehow feel you’ve been there.

All her books in this genre are great but this one beats them all. Infact I rated it better than most Sidney Sheldon’s too.

.

Mary Higgins Clark, Sidney Sheldon, Sandra Brown. worth reading and investing in your own copy.

Ok now 150 words! umm.Another novel worth reading is Charleston and its sequel On Leaving Charleston.  These two novels are written by Alexandra Ripley. She wrote the *1991 bestseller *Scarlett, sequel to Gone with the wind, where Scarlett goes in the hope of getting her husband back.

The thing about all the 3 books is that they are all set in Charleston and it comes to life because the characters from one are in the other two and vice versa. You get to understand them better and depending on which book you read first, in you’re mind your bound to say " oh I know her /him from ‘Scarlett’ " or " I know him/her from Charleston".  The characters just come alive and right until you finish the book it seems like your in their yard watching them and knowing them. It’s in your mind and on your mind 24x7.

For those of you who like Historical Romances, these books will not let u down.

Do post your comments if you have read these books or after you have read them.  Enjoy.
