I have been a user and promoter of Epson Inkjet Printers for the past four years. Currently I am using a Stylus 440 printer which is my fourth Inkjet Printer and the second Epson Printer. After 440 then came 460 which was also good. But the recently introduced Stylus 480 is a hopeless model. Everything else is different except the price. The switches are missing, paper handling trays are missing, catridge changes are software controlled, the free stationery worth Rs.500 provided with 440 and 460 is missing, along with the usual must haves like cables (just like a car without a tyre). Ink catridges gets empty without even printing a single page, if you switch on and off the computer along with the priner so many times. Spares are not yet available with local service people. One printer given to Redington Cochin on 16/11/2000 is yet to be returned as they say that the SMPS is still on the way from Epson store.
