I am Omkar and I am presenting you my personal experience with ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0.
I am a antivirus guy I change my AV software frequently (each in 4-5 weeks) so I tried out ESET’s newest version of Antivirus software NOD32 3.0 and it really impressed me nearly in all categories.
Here are some key features of NOD32:
VB 100% (VB 100% is a award which is presented to those AV softwares who successfuly pass in Virus Detection tests conducted by a British Magazine names Virus Bulletin)
Auto Update and very small sized updates. (You will find Auto Updating feature in most of the AV softwares in today’s market.)
Fast scanning speed (This AV is one of the fastest scanner it scanned my nearly full 80 GB HDD in 1 hr and 11 min [ I only have 4.81 GB of free space])
Less system resource user (NOD32 uses very less system resources (You can even play games while running a virus scan [I was able to play on my PC do it on your own risk])
*Since I didn’t planned to buy it I have downloaded the trial version of it (nearly expired).
It detects 98% of the viruses (known) and also alerts the user if it thinks that the file is suspicious and could contain a new virus in this condition it sends the file to eset and they will see if the file has a sample of a new virus if they find a sample they give out its solution in the next virus definations update. There is not much to share about a AV software as its totally depends on user’s choice so thats my review.
My suggestion if you have a PC with internet access go for it its the best.
Its Price would be near Rs 1, 800 for a 1 yr subscription.
