||:::Mushtundee:::||

Esha was born on 2nd November 1982, presumably in <<Mumbai>> or weirdly somewhere in <<Haryana>> may be, Esha is an acronym for Eeeee Sssss Hhhhhh Aaaaa…Ok read on…

Even her name sounds a bit confusing, it has to be pronounced as Esha (A sha) and not I sha. So a glimpse of her and an instinct enough for me to burden you all with this review.

Its difficult to be Esha Deol, born to a feminine mom Hema Malini and a masculine dad Dharmendra Deol, hehe :-) was that something you all didn’t knew and having 2 monster no if and no but only Jatt brothers in 2.5 kg/hand Sunny Deol and the Italian horse Bobby, its difficult to make a mark for yourself when more or less majority 3.5/4(.5 to BD) of your family has made a mark, its difficult.

The moment I saw this girl on screen in 2002, I knew, It’s better to sleep back home where your mom lullabies you to sleep with the Casper mat, acting isn’t for you girl, acting is for your mother no matter with the choked tamilian hindi accent she used, but still she sparkled the big screen with the beauty she possessed, Esha never listened to her mom nor me hehe :-), so did her first movie named Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche or Puche err.. Whatever. Don’t you people worry it was the (B&M) blink and a miss film, the B&M movies are the ones which generally had blokes like Aftab Shivdasani in the lead.

Then perhaps the lord of the lucks shone its twinkles on her and she got Na Tum Jaano na Hum with Saif and Hrithik, hehe :) the movie became the B&M stuff umm umm coz naa tum jaano na hum, but few things did get noticed though, Esha’s acting doesn’t need commenting till that moment of time but I felt she can dance, notice her when she matches Hrithik well in a particular dance sequence. The yr. 2002 got dead and buried In the history books as for Esha it was an uneventful debut.

If 2002 was a somewhat dumps for her 2003 was like Search in the Dustbin kind of year where you can look for all her 3 releases finding a place, The year also gave everyone solid goose bumps (find out what solid goose bumps are) about her, What’s with this girl?

She gave me all the reasons to think on various cables of thought. The girl either looks a bit overweight for her counterparts or may be overpowering even, Acting still doesn’t need to be commented upon and then I saw her pic, the head & shoulder pic gave me a super instinct to call her a mushtundee which also is the title of this review, I mean look at the shoulders they are broad as somewhat like a female Ox (I know there isn’t a gender with Ox), in 2003 she confirmed my thoughts completely and did some movies like Kya Dil Ne Kaha and Kuchh to Hai both with unrecognized Kida Makoda Tusshaar Kapoor and a movie called Chura Liya hai Tumne which vanished as it appeared with Zayed Khan.

The thoughts now solidified, in many scenes especially the ones when the leads hug each other In both the movies it was like Esha was bear hugging Tusshaar and I felt as if it was other way round, Well few would say Hema also looked big somewhat, I would say there’s a difference, Hema had a beautiful face and looked pretty, Esha isn’t bad but compared to her mom she looks a bit more stern on face, plus there’s a mark on her forehead if you notice that and also I find her mannerisms somewhat boyish.

~2004, probably has been a turnaround for her.

I felt she acted pretty decently in Yuva and really chiseled her body in Dhoom, I mean if you look at her Abs and the biceps, Thank god it wasn’t Tusshaar Kapoor this time otherwise she might have made him choke. Also she did some rain dancing in Insane err Insaan (if you remember that) and cried cried and cried in LOC with some singing, This year has been morbid for her as far as acting stints go, in recently released DUS she resembles more or less a Night lamp thanks to her hair do which is a wig as in a covering of a night lamp with few colors and lot of hair pins, time and again in the movie I felt that someone should remove it from her head and before that in KAAL hehe amazingly she got drowned in well via a bucket of water.

But still as far as acting is concerned the girl needs to boot up, acting cannot be easy as push ups or bench pressing in the Gym, as far as other things are concerned she has some natural drawbacks in her appearance and for me seems like something that resembles a masfeminine or femasculine person. On the face she doesn’t even excite if she sheds clothing, hence work is cut out for her.

As far as the other actresses of her age go, Kareena is way ahead honestly and to really get herself into some league she has a long long way, I sometimes feel pity on the actors working with her, I mean if they ever by mistake look nasty somewhat on screen, I mean god knows what will the brothers like Sunny/Bobby and a father like Dharampaji would do, I feel his blood will be sucked and all the bones will be battered with the Dhaai kilo ke haaths.

Cticize’s Quote:: “To be honest, it’s the movies which have overshadowed her, as far as her current status quo I don’t find her move anywhere and needs a lot of improvement, Only thing I can do is Wait for her to emerge or perish, hence till she emerges 2 star and a reccomendation to you all.”
