Esplanade , the new Bengali restaurant opened at Kormangala is situated new China Pearl.But friends take my advise if you are true Bengali food lover you will not like this place. The decor is good and the service is also good but the food quality is not too good.
In fact this is the first time I experienced some irritation in my mouth after having *Sorse Ilish *. Infact all my friends had the same experience.We had been there only a few days back. The food festival was going on but the food that was being offered at the food festival was not of good quality.
Would anyone think of having vegetable chop for a price of Rs 60 ??I have also heard reviews from other friends of mine. They have the same opinion. None of them had any good words to say for Esplanade.I would certainly not suggest this restaurant to any one. Might be a person who has never tried a true Bengali dish would like this place and appreciate it but certainly not any Bengali.
