ET Money is by far the worst investment app I have ever come across. I initially trusted the platform and invested over ₹1 lakh across 8 SIPs, planning for long-term investments. However, for the last four months, every single SIP has failed, despite having more than sufficient funds in my bank account.
During the bull market, the app was quick to accept my investments. But now, in a bear phasewhen investing makes the most senseall my SIPs are getting rejected. I contacted their customer support multiple times, but instead of resolving the issue, they kept shifting blamefirst to the UPI app, then to my bank.
However, both my bank and UPI app confirmed that they never received any charge requests from ET Money during this period. This clearly shows that the issue is entirely on ET Moneys end, especially since my other SIPs are working perfectly fine with other investment apps. To make matters worse, their customer support has now completely stopped responding to my emails.
Adding to the frustration, there is no proper desktop site for making investments. If you visit their website, they force you to download the mobile app to access your account. When I installed the app and tried investing manually via lump sum, there was no option to do so! In fact, I couldnt even access detailed information about my investments. Every feature is locked behind a paywall, constantly pushing their premium subscription. Without it, the app is practically uselessyou cant even access your own investments!
I strongly advise against using ET Money if you value your hard-earned money and mental peace. The app might look sleek, but its completely worthless unless you pay for their premium plan. Now, Im stuckI cant invest, I cant track my funds properly, and withdrawing would mean exit load charges, tax implications, and potential losses due to the current market downturn.
ET Moneys customer support is a joke, and the app is nothing but a trap to force users into their paid plans. Avoid this app at all costs!
