I am utterly disappointed with the level of service that I got for repair of my laptop(ticket id 145230).
I had given my laptop for repair on 2nd Jan, and only on 9th Jan did someone call me to explain that the problem was with the VGA chips, and they needed to be replaced.
Since the cost of VGA chips and motherboard was the same, I was advised to go for motherboard replacement as it would be done by 9th afternoon.
Since then every time I call about the status of my laptop I was told that the motherboard is out of stock and will take some time to procure. I am not sure what this "sometime" is, as I was told on 9th that the motherboard will be replaced the same day.
Furthermore I had asked if the motherboard is not available then atleast tell me how much time the VGA chips will take to be procured, as the cost was the same. But no one had adequate intelligence to wherever my query is being directed to to understand this.
All they did was to tell me was that motherboard will take some more time to procure, not understanding that a customer has been waiting for over 2 weeks for his/her laptop cannot wait any longer without any firm commitments.
I think a road side vendor will work with better timelines and give more accurate commitments than these guys can ever do. I have lost all faith in their ability to do any repair work or apply their minds to resolve a customer’s query meaningfully.
