The famous Etihad airways is adopting very nasty and unprofessional practices while discharging its responsibilities as an airline company. My daughter traveled in this airlines the tickets are booked from JFK, NY to and from Hyderabad. In the itinerary it is mentioned that the airlines belong to Etihad and certain facilities like on-board wi-fi etc. are available.
On boarding my daughter shocked to know that the flight belong to Jet Airways and operated by Ethihad. In the ticket also somewhere they have mentioned the same. However, the passenger should not bother about the flight to which company it belongs provided all amenities and facilities as promised are provided. The aircraft crew have not responded properly for the queries raised by my daughter.
While returning from Hyderabad to JFK on 20.12.2015, the staff at the check-in counter have also created a lot trouble to almost all passengers stating some silly reasons that the laptop bag is not allowed without laptop. Usually the laptop bags we carry just not only to carry a laptop and also to keep many important documents which are required for customs / immigration. A cabin luggage of 7 kgs and a handbag / laptop bag are normally allowed by almost all airlines except this dirty Etihad; even the same is not mention in their baggage rules. Don’t travel by these dirty airlines.
