World's Worst Airlines

Like other Chicagoans who often travel to south Asian countries, I was frustrated with the existing carriers and very excited to hear that Etihad was starting its operations from Chicago so I broke down and made my booking 3 months in advance to go to India. The travel agent re-assured that my seats and pre-booked and bassinet for my 6 months old baby was confirmed. Hear my story people.... the  hit the fan the very first moment we entered the checking counter at O’Hare.


First off, checking agents were totally clueless and rude. Seats were separate, No bassinet for the baby. Made us wait for 45 minutes in line to get the things straighten out.


On Board - , "a world class experience" ( As they say in their commercials) was surprisingly turned out to be an "out of this world experience". The flight was old and stinky.. Crew members were extremely rude and arrogant. It was like being arrogant was the primary qualification for the job. It was extremely cold and they didn’t have enough blankets and pillows. None of the crew members paid any attention to the requests made by fellow passengers to crank up the heat or provide blankets.


One lady crew member as a matter of fact started shouting in broken English and told one old lady to shut her hole. Food was a disaster, everything was cold, flavor less and tasted like garbage. after serving or throwing the food trays in fond of you, they blissfully ignore you for 2 hours. didn’t clear the food trays for 2 hours. Several requests for warm water for my baby’s food were addressed were also ignored and two of the crew members yapping in some crazy language (Pilipino or thai) and made some smart comments. These are racist people that I am talking about folks!! They treat every non-Indian/Pakistani with great respect and compassion irrespective of their class (economy or business). This is wrong people.. Just wrong.. These low life scumbags survive on the passengers travelling to south East Asia and they treat us like dirt in every possible ways. I was travelling with 2 kids; they showed no compassion towards people with families. Their primary objective is to make our travel miserable and they execute their plans skillfully!!


Arrogance is their culture, being racist is their motto. They don’t deserve any chance to serve us!! Spread this word and share your experience!!
