My family and I had bought three tickets from Ezeego1.com for travel from Cairo to Delhi for the 6th of July 2013 on Etihad Airlines vide PNR GVUGLK. The flight was Cairo to Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Delhi for the 6th of July 2013 on Etihad Airlines. We were in Alexandria, Egypt and were advised not to travel to Cairo on account of the coup and the political and mass public unrest in Egypt.
We had informed Etihad on 1st July 2013 regarding the situation as per mail attached. We requested Ezeego1.com, spoke and emailed with Bhavesh & Jeetu at Etihad, and at Etihad, spoke with Matt and a lady whose name we couldn’t get, for hours but our requests fell on deaf years. Emails attached.
We travelled to UAE to catch our connection from Abu Dhabi to Delhi only to be told that we can not travel on the connecting flight. Thanks to that we had to extend our stay and incur trauma, distress, delays and expenses. Totally uncalled for. Etihad was informed on 1st July 2013 and Ezeego1.com was informed 10 hours before flight took off from Cairo on 6th of July 2013 when we were told by Etihad in UAE that we can’t take the Abu Dhabi to Delhi sector.
I was traveling with my wife and minor son and had to go through a harrowing experience at Egypt and then was further rendered excuses, distress, harassments’, delays and inconveniences by Etihad Airlines and Ezeego1.com. Excuses and lies like the travel was no show two days after the date of travel while a prior mail from Ezeego1.com confirms that the ticket was already cancelled 10 hours prior to flight having taken off from Cairo and that their was no unrest in Egypt etc were some of the things we were handed out.
The cancellation/change/rescheduling was on account of turmoil/bloodshed/coup in Egypt. It wasn’t a personal emergency nor a personal will to amend the booking but a forced requirement due to the problem/turmoil/bloodshed/coup in Egypt. Etihad Airlines and Ezeego1.com both were downright callous, inhuman, uncooperative, stubborn and high headed. It is a surprise that organizations like these are global and can get scot free with people’s money. It’s flabbergasting to know that both Etihad Airlines and Ezeego1.com are in the service industry with no sign of humanity, service, scruples or consciousness.
Instead of helping and being accommodative we are only being further harassed and being made to suffer by Etihad Airlines and Ezeego1.com. We would like to file an official complaint against both with claim for full refund, penalty as well as compensation for the distress, harassments’, delays and inconveniences caused by both Etihad Airlines and Ezeego1.com.
Please help and revert at the earliest.

OF COURSE AS CAN BE SEEN WE HAVE HAD TO PUT THIS UP ON SUCH FORUMS BECAUSE NEITHER ETIHAD NOR EZEEGO1.COM CARES, EVEN AFTER HAVING SENT SEVERAL MAILS SINCE RETURNING TO INDIA.
