The Etihad ground staff at Bangalore are a truly arrogant lot. My experience started in the evening of 3rd Jan 2014, they came to us and said your flights are delayed by 6Hrs. I asked them as you already know this you could have informed us by calling they were clueless on this question.
Then after 4-5Hrs wait they said Flight is cancelled as Crew members are not willing to fly. This was also something they knew beforehand. After waiting for the whole night at the airport with out any communication from the ground staff and begging them like dogs after paying so much money for the flight. They came back and said we can do some bookings only at a later date ranging from 1-2weeks. And then you have to call customer care and get the tickets re-issued.
The customer care executive were beyond all expectations, they talk as if they are customers and you are service providers. Please think twice if you have patience to get into such kind of situations.
