I purchased the Eureka forbes vacuum cleaner around one year back. The Eureka forbes agent had nearly coninced me to buy a wet and dry vacuum cleaner but I checked the reviews on mouthshut and decided to go for Ace.Got a free travel bag as well:) I do not regret my decision. Ace has been working fine and have not faced any problem so far. However I do not know whether Eureka forbes has any customer services or after sales service network at all as no one has contacted me ever since I have bought the product. I don’t think I received the guarantee card and bill as well. I called up the person repeatedly for the same and he always assured me it’s on the way but it never arrived . Thankfully I did not have to use the guarantee so far.
The pros -
-Good vacuum cleaner. multipurpose attachment- make it easy to clean upholstery, furniture(thin attachment for crevices is very helpful). Also the extension tubes make it easy to clean ceilings and fan tops
-Nice car cleaning and car wash accessories, their small attachments make it easy to clean inside the car and the blower attachment is good for blowing the dust off the grills.
-large dust bag-had to change the bag only once so far and they had provided a set of extra bags
-Long cord - Easy to maneuver and easy to wind up( a switch for that)+ foot operated switches
-Double dust filters
the cons-
-No after sales/customer support
-Expensive product- cheaper alternatives available in market-do some research before you buy
-I feel this could have been more powerful and at time it can’t suck out dust specially at corners on car floor
-Detailed product manual explaining the proper usage of each attachment is missing
