Update 10/08/2012:**The Response received stamp on this post is a fallacy and misleading claim by Aquaguard (given their track record this wont be the first). In the name of a response I received a mail from them asking for my contact details to which I replied the same day. After this there had been no follow up, no updates and no more "Response Received".
Its been a month now (10/08/2012) and even after all this time and repetitive complaints with their call center the product is lying at my home like a showpiece. I dont want it installed at my home I just want to get rid of it and if even after these repetitive complaints they cant take back their own product it just shows lethargic, sloppy, disrespectful, irresponsible sales force Aquaguard has.
So if you reside in vicinity of Kalyan, Thane please do yourself a favor and dont opt for this product. I have lost my sleep over this, I hope no one else have to.-----

I purchased one Eureka Forbes product long back when it was still new and trying to gain trust of its customers, I was so delighted by that experience that I had a positive image about the company. But with this nightmarish experience I vow never to even touch a Eureka Forbes product again...ever.
I had placed an order for aquaguard water purifier with Eureka Forbes helpline on 12th July, 2012 and the sales person from the company visited my home for a demo on the same day. After looking at the product I gave him a cheque for INR 7990 /- the same day. We were promised delivery and installation of the product the within 1 or 2 days.This is when the horror story starts, the salesman who took money from me stopped taking my calls altogether. I kept trying to reach him on the number he gave us for days but to no avail.
Seeing this we reached out to the Eureka Forbes local office in our area and told them about the issue. He also promised a delivery the very same day. But again the same story repeated, no one came for 2 days and every day whenever I used to call they always used to say "Sir aaj ho jayega, aaj ho jayega".
After a lot many calls and heated arguments they did deliver the product to our home but without installation. Now we have the water purifier sitting idle as a show piece in my home because neither the local office responds to my calls nor does that salesman. I had to literally fight with every single one of them just to get the product delivered and dont know how many more I will have to fight to get it installed at my house. If this is the kind of service they will give me in future then I dont have any reason to actually use the product.
A high involvement purchase like this has to be smooth and if a company claims to be a leader in the segment than the ancillary machinery should support it claims rather than refute it with their lethargic attitude towards customer, because they think customers can not do anything after giving them money. Well for once they were wrong because after going through this nightmare I got so disappointed I issued a stop cheque request to my bank for their payment.
I have now asked them to take product from my home I am not going to pay for this kind of service anymore.
