Eureka - a satisfying one

To start with, water is one of the most important inputs we require in life. But the water now available is contaminated with lots of impurities and polluted too. So to avail clean water, Water Purifiers is more than a necessity.


I am using Eureka Forbes for more than 10 years. The type of system is first at that time. The marketing is also innovative and said also as a special type in B-Schools. But of course it is nuisance at times too.


That product is overall running well. The service is fine in my city Hyderabad. The response of servicemen takes a good 24 hrs to attend. And once they come you could see the experts in action.


The company recommends to take the piece in AMC. This is good, as the spares are too costly and are not availabe in open market. The cost of service is also too high.


But I had a problem last year (not with the product) that the service person refused to renew my AMC as my unit was too old and spares are not coming from the Company. He said to replace the entire circuitry inside which cost me Rs. 1800. This, I feel is negligence on the part of the Company. If spares are not given then they should exchange the product or the least give some package. They forcefully made me to go for the upgradation of the old piece as the new one is costing around Rs. 8000.


The company should be responsible after selling the product. How can they terminate to manufacture a particular model spares just because it is 10 years old. Now amny customers who have this product above 8 years old may face this problem. I request the Company to give a fair deal to the loyal customers by exchanging the product at a fair price.
