Writing from C R Park, New Delhi and have used Eureka Forbes water purifier for seven year before switching to Assembled RO for last 5 years. Now we planned to change the RO and as 1st choice placed a home demo at the Eureka Forbes site around 23rd Mar’15.
The sales person came to our house without prior phone-call on 25th Mar’15 stating the he could not get us on the phone and described the products and prices. I was not convinced on the aftersale AMC deal and the person made me talk to an office person who confirmed that a written guarantee on company letter head which seemed a bit suspicious.
We told him that we are looking for other products and will compare before selecting our choice and will give him a call if required. On 28th Mar’15 we decided on a purifier where we got a good deal and went ahead to purchase it.
On 29th Mar’15 morning my wife received a call from this person and told him that we went for another product - Here his tone changed and he wanted to know the product details which we opted and we politely told him that we will not disclose the same. at this point he shot back saying that we wasted his time and effort to which we were shocked and told him to’shut-up’.
I am not naming this salesman but this was a bad experience for considering a Eureka Forbes product.
