One company you should avoid like plague

Here is the usage review of Aquaguard Enhance RO which I have been using for 3 years.


Bought it in Oct 2011, and the sales guys gave me a demo at 9:30 PM, showing the high TDS reading on their TDS meter and gave a lecture about the water purity to sell me a product worth 14K.


Right after a month, some filter was damaged. Despite of repeated calls to the customer care, Eureka forbes took a week to replace the filter. Yes, you read it right. A week. I had to make alternate arrangement for drinking water for a week.


After 2 years, the whole device stopped working. Membrane damaged, motor stopped working blah blah blah.The service guy insisted me to take AMC and that costs a whopping 8K for 2 years! He has replaced everything and went off.


If you tell the customer care you are on AMC, no one shows up to service the product in time. They promise service within 24 Hrs but never comes even in 2-3 days. The sales team sold me the product showing the TDS reading, but the service team never carries a TDS meter. Sales team sold me the product at 9:30 PM, but the service is strictly 9 to 5.


Even now, the complaint opened for replacement of filter - 78572784, is active since Friday morning. No one has called till Saturday evening and Sunday is a holiday. Now, that says about their commitment to customers.


It is not a soda maker or Coke dispenser which you can live without. They sell water purifiers and being a basic necessity of humans, it should be serviced on priority, not looking at someone has AMC or will pay cash to the service person.


I have to ensure the quality of drinking water for my little one and Eureka Forbes is definitely a company to avoid at any cost. They just don’t care about you.If you have read enough about water tanker mafia, these frauds can be termed as water purifier mafia. If you wonder where did I have such an experience, it is bang in Bangalore.


Spend your money wisely or you will repent.  I have struggled enough with Eureka Forbes terrible customer service and it is easily one of the worst in this country. The=attached pic summarizes the story=!
