I have been using this product for many years now. Have also had AMC for parts and service. Since last month, this is facing some intermittent electrical problems so logged in a call.
The technician who came said that the product has been retired by the company and there’s no point in him looking into it. He also said that no one will renew the AMC this year for this product.
That left me perplexed because I would imagine that a service oriented company like Eureka Forbes should have made efforts to announce product retirement. I mentioned that in their feedback form and soon enough there was a call back to clarify. I reiterated my opinion and gave an analogy of Microsoft & Apple on how they retire products.
Ever since, I haven’t heard from them. My unit continues to have electrical malfunction. I did get an email reminder for AMC renewal. So till date I’m not aware what is the true picture. Should I just buy a Kent?
