Totally unreliable service from eureka forbes

After reading the several reviews below with respect to poor or rather non-existent "After-sales service", I don’t really have much hopes left. I myself have been calling the customer complaint since a month now and everytime I call a really clueless guy promises to send a technician the same evening.I bought a crystal model a year ago from Viveks, Bangalore. It had a faulty part right at the time of installation and they replaced it. Though I failed to understand then how a brand new machine could have a fault. Don’t they have quality control? But since I had already bought it, I didn;t have much of a choice.The machine now needs a change of candle and I am yet to hear from the technician. I have been given a complaint reference number(2170) and I call once a week and get the same answer. I asked to speak to somebody senior to find out what exactly is the problem but apparently the senior guy was busy.If instead of giving false promises of "I’ll send somebody by today evening" if only they would be upfront and tell me that it would take 1 week/2weeks/3weeks, I was ready to wait it out.But now after close to 4 weeks and totally unreliable assurances from the complaint center, I am wondering if it wouldn’t be a better idea to buy another machine from philips or kent. Anyways right now I am spending a fortune buying water.goodbye eureka forbes
