I purchased an aqua guard gold nova in December 2009. The package did not have the user manual in it. I was promised that it will be delivered within a week but even after innumerable calls and some heated exchanges the same has not been delivered. That machine makes some un characteristic beeps while in operation and I do not know what it is for. The machine delivered malodorous water on several occasions and also The water flow becomes a mere trickle and the service person comes and does something and it becomes alright for a few weeks. This has happened several times in less than a year.
On the whole it is a very regretful decision. I am unsure about the quality of water it produces so I boil it before use. So the filter is practically of no use.
This water purifier was purchased by me in exchange for another useless aqua guard that was an earlier model. That used to deliver foul smelling water every 2 weeks and required to be serviced. I was told to fit an addition al candle filter to the water line as the water was very dirty! I did so with no improvement in performance. I was asked to buy this model to solve all problems and here I am still boiling water. I cannot risk my 10 month old childs health with such a sub standard product.
I intend testing the quality of the water before suing these people. I have had enough.
