Aquaguard - Its NO Guard

Hi all.

Aqua Guard. Lot of relatives, friends have this piece of Junk(I mean it).

My cousin is a Professional in water purification systems. He is like Guru in this whole stuff. After I discussed with him, I am really really scared of this equipment.

I was aksing so many questions to him about this. End of the day his answer is This equipment does something and its not worth using it.

He suggested to go for a Reverse Osmosis one. Lot better. But the problem is the wastage of water is too much in a RO Plant.

Maintenance is too expensive.

Poor Service.

There is one component which they say as UV stuff. That one gets clogged all the time and need to change. Its like changing the heart of the equipment.

The Carbon filter is another big mess. Same problem.

The UV stuff they say is ok only for Bacteria and not for others.

Also, check with those Sales guys. The bacteria or what ever germs inside the water is just made to sleep or something which wont react for say 4 hours.

For example, if use this equipment to filter say 5 litres of water. You need to consume all the water in matter of 4 - 6 hours time.

If not, the water is same old water. Because, all the germs gets reactivated.

Sales guys will say its for 24 hours. Nope.

I took water from my home did all the analysis in cousin lab. after using lot of eqipment including this Aqua Guard.

No use.

Only effective, so far I have seen and recommended by quite few people is RO Plant.

Of course its expensive, 60 - 70% wastage of water. But Very effective.

I have asked a guy in Hosur to make a small RO plant for me.

It costed me like Rs. 10, 000.00. This guy is a professional RO plant guy for major manufacturing establishment. As friend he did this to me and I am perfectly ok with it.

To conclude: NO AQUA GUARD.
