Pathetic installation service by Eureka Forbes

We had ordered for Eureka Forbes Reviva water purifier to be installed in our new house. The team were very proactive before we purchased the unit; but after purchasing the unit- for the service team to come and install the device it took 7 days and multiple calls.


The set up team installed the water purifier but it did not work - when asked they said there was some water pipeline issue - this being a new house we gave them a benefit of doubt and reached out to the plumber who checked the whole thing and declared no issue in the piping.


We again called the installation in charge, Mr Jaipal Reddy from Hyderabad - who for again a week went on saying that he will be sending some one over to set the device; I cant tell you the number of excuses this gentleman had for not sending over his team. We even shared the complaint number with him thrice but still nothing happened. Eventually, probably because of the service number, someone from the service team came in to check the device and said that the purifier was not working because there was no water pressure!


We were really surprised at this, since during installation we specifically asked the person if a booster would be required. Well, ok. so this was gross incompetence - but we wanted our device to work; so we asked these folks to arrange for the needful - now this is the gem of information they had for me - Apparently these folks are the service team and hence different from the setup/installation team and hence they cannot put right the system!


We got thoroughly vexed up, asked for their manager’s number - So we got the area manager Ms. Shilpa’s number to whom we spoke at length and explained our predicament. She promised she would get this fixed. We had our purifier installed around 20 October and today it is 19 November- our water purifier is still not working!


We have been calleing the area manager again but no response, have registered complaints but no response.


It is really disheartening to see a brand being so insensitive to customer needs. Very very disappointed and would not recommend the brand in Hyderabad anywhere. That’s why decided to purchase the vacuum cleaner for the new home for any branch other than eureka forbes
