Worst customer service

I want to tell my experience with Eureka Forbes during the purchase of a water purifier.


I was interested in buying a water purifer, I call Eureka cust care number. Next day on, 3rd of Oct a sales executive named Kesav Gowda came to my house to tell about the products . I got interested in buying Sensa model. On 4th Oct again Kesav called me asking when I can purchase. I told him clearly that I am interested in buying Sensa but I am not in any urgency to buy. I will purchase next week as I have to settle money in my credit card and it will take 3 to 4 days. Mr Kesav came again on 4th Oct night and told that I can book the product without paying anything and only I have to give my credit card number, the money will not be transacted from my card. Mr Kesav promised that he will confirm with me by calling me before doing any transaction on my credit card and it will happen only after Oct 6th . Also, Mr Kesav promised me that the unit will be delivered around 4 p.m on Oct 5th and will get installed around 7:30 PM on Oct 5th itself.


On Oct 5th, we were waiting but nobody have given any update. I called Mr Kesav around 8 PM, he said the unit will be installed tomorrow. Again on 6th Oct nobody called until afternoon. And in the afternoon I got message from my bank that Rs 17900 has been debited from my card. I felt very angry. Nobody called me, unit has not been delivered as promised, without my permission the money has been debited from my card. I have to pay fine of around Rs 1800 because the card limit got overshooted as the previous settlement has not done till Oct 5th.


I called Kesav, he told he can’t do anything and asked me to talk to his manager Mr Mahesh Hande. I called Mahesh, he said he can do anything only if I write the whole story in an email. I took the pain of jotting down everything in email but after that no response.


Finally after a lot of follow up calls, the unit got delivered on 10th Oct. After the delivery Mr Mahesh and Mr Kesav accepted their mistake and promised to give some gift as a compensation. Till today, its already two more than a month, no gift has been given even nobody has called. Also, even I have not received the receipt for my payment.


This is clearly the case of making false promise to customers. I am feeling cheated. Without any reason I have to pay Rs 1800 fine for my credit card. Even after that these people not even picking my call forget about the response.I heard from my other friends too that these guys are in a habit of making false promise to customers just to sell their product, after that they don’t care at all.


Please don’t fall prey to such a bad customer service.
