I bought Aquaguard Sensa on 14-4-2008 in Bangalore. In the past ~2 year experience, I too faced quite a lot of difficulties with the Water Filter.
The good part was the output water is clean with good storage tank, when the water filter works but apart from that, everything else with Eureka forbes is very bad. Even after complaining this to their manager, they did not act anything.
Yesterday, the water output was light yellow in color and I called the service people. They said, the filter has to be changed which will cost 3.5k and it has to be done every 12 months. When the sales person sold the product, he said, there will be no problem with the product and if required only after 3 years we have to change the filter.
I am still thinking after paying 17, 900 just 2 years back, should I still pay 3.5k every year? Or go for another new walter filter system which has low maintenance cost. This maintenance cost will surpass the original cost of the product in 4 to 5 years.
There is lot of hidden information and cheating and the customer service is extremely poor with Eureka forbes. They have still not given me a proper invoice and user manual even after 2 years. I had a complaint lodged on 26-Dec-2008, but still the work is in progress according to them !!
I would NOT recommend Aquaguard/Eureka Forbes to anyone just because of their
a) high cost product,
b) false promises by sales people,
c) high maintenance cost and
d) very poor customer service.
Even if the product is costly, if the service is good and maintenance is low, atleast that would be convincing. Thats not the case here unfortunately !
