I bought this product in May 2013. At the time of purchase, the Aquaguard guy told me that you dont have to bare additional costs till 2.5 years as all the internal parts will function without any problem. He also mentioned that yearly the cost of servicing would be around Rs 2000/- to Rs.2200/-
With regard to product I must say there is not much problem with machine which we faced in one year. We bought extra pre-filter(candle) fixed outside near the machine after the recommendations by service person few months later of the purchase of purifier for around Rs.1300/-. For first six months no service guy visited home on their own. After repetitive calling the technician came. Eventually we got 2 or 3 servicing in warranty period which is not meeting the commitment given at the time of buying.
Now the moment 1 year is completed the service guy called me and asked to pay AMC of Rs. 4500/- saying that all your filters, membranes etc parts needs to be replaced. This is very annoying. Rs. 15000/- machines all filters, mabranes needs to be replaced in just one year? What kind of technology is this which wastes too much water also under the name of RO purification? And what is a point in paying Rs. 4500/- every year under AMC after facing troubles in warranty period also? I request the company to look into the matter and let me know what are the real facts?
New buyers please be aware about poor servicing, high AMC factors at the time of buying.And please grill the Aquaguard sales guy till you get convince on all fronts as I feel that I got cheated by a well known world class brand.
