Ugent -Pathetic Service franchise. Repeated issues

I use this model and have been quiet happy initially. This is the third year I use and have renewed the AMC for second consequtive year . As a procedure, as we renew, the membrane kit and other filters are supposed to be changed to a newer one and then for the 1 year whatsoever, the company takes care is the amc terms as mentioned in the amc contract. But this time, to my surprise, sevice technician named kamal did not use a sealed membrane and said since we are on AMC anyway it would be company’s responsibility and so we do not have to worry. Since then(june/july 2014), there have been repeated issues with the system experiencing different issues. The service guy kamal had given me his mobile no. to call directly and not aquaguard saying he will serve instantly.He even took 1000 Rupees saying he will fit an external filter for the safety of the UNIT. But the system keeps generating issues. .


But to my surprise, he never picks up calls and I always followup with aquaguard CS and it takes sometimes weeks for the same guy to attend . He even sarcastically mentions that there is of no use following up with customer care and still only he has to come. While my house is in proper chennai city, its strange the customer care of after sales / service is so pathetic . Eureka must have ensured there is no such below the par service franchisees appointed and really do something to monitor the service technicians.


Inspite of being a loyal customer of aqua guard once - I am forced to write this review looking at the way its customers are treated. The machine is only generating a sound, but not producing any water since a week now.but even after my repeated calls - no one has attended it till now. The complaint no. given was 78030137 any my customer ID is 1009524809. I had even tryed calling Mr.imayavarman( service manager) as per the advice of CS, But he never picked up my call, nor reverted back . I sent an SMS to him with details, but even after no response whatsoever. Only option I am left with is to go legal .which I will be opting in the due course.


Overall its a very bad experience till now, anyway will wait for some EUREKA guys to contact me and resolve it  and keep all of you posted about my further actions /update  on this case.
