We got this product on March 2012 based on the recommendation from the sales guy after checking the water quality in our place. During sales he mentioned that there will be no need of changing the filters for couple of years at least and there was a 1 year of guarantee.
Every month we had issues with the purifier, so we called up the service guy and he used change the filter and he recommended a external filter to be installed before water enters the purifier. Even though it was not told during sales we installed this filter costing around Rs. 1000. Then the problem was reduced but still problem existed. Service guy has changed filters at least 4-5 times in the first year.
He asked for AMC which was costing around 4150 a year. We said no to it. From then on he is hardly responding to our queries. Now with in 2 month it stopped working. When we called for servicing he check and told that all filters are gone. He mentions during the guarantee period they will only put recycled filters which will not last long. So now I either need to pay Rs 3900 for the filter cost or AMC of 4150+425(service charge) for changing the filter. Even if there is AMC if the filters are gone we need to pay for the filters. Response from the service guy is really bad. No value for the customers.
During the guarantee period looks like they put recycled filters just to cross the guarantee period, once that is crossed they can loot you with new filters.
During sales they mention filters will stay for 2-3 years, but looks like we need to spend 4000 every 4 months. Though this is my first experience with RO, I would never recommend this product to any one. Huge maintenance cost.
