I unfortunately brought a Eureka Forbes aqua-sure ivory water purifier on September 2008. It worked fine till one day it stopped working. I registered the complain with the company and was told that it would be rectified in 2 working days. Nobody gave me a call after 2 working days and I had to call the customer care again. I was again promised that somebody will call me on same day. Now all this is happening while the aqua guard was still in warranty.
I had to pay for the bislery water for more than 3 weeks.
After more than dozen calls, finally the aqua guard problem was solved by person who came to my house. The chipboard had gone bad. The person told me that I should take Rs 1000 annual service contract which had 2 free service and any part replacement warranty. He told me that service is very good if you take the annual contract. I took one.
After 6 months the first paid service time came and again I had to call more than dozen times to get a service person at my house. it was after 15 days of initial service request when the service person came.
Now it is time for 2 paid service. I had registered the request on 21st August and called them 7 times already and no response. The person who came to service told me that till the main office schedule the service he cannot come. Irony is that I am receiving messages from the company that my annual service contract is up for renewal and I should call customer care.
Each time you call the call center then the agent would tell you that he/she would schedule a service immediately and I would get a call within 2 hours but one would never receive a call.
Now the product is decent but the service is pathetic. Even when you pay for the annual service nobody comes to service your aqua guard.
I would suggest people never buy a aqua guard or Eureka Forbes product.
Water purifier requires regular service otherwise they are no good but you would not get any service from Eureka Forbes. This is the worst customer service I have seen from a company.
