Pathetic customer care

I bought this product and I would like to share my experience with you. Before buying it, I had checked the user manual booklet and it had it mentioned in English that this water filter uses an iodinated resin material for killing the virus, however there was no additional information. After I took it to home, I simply checked the user manual again and found that in the malayalam and other local languages version of the instruction set, it is clearly mentioned that we should check with a doctor if we have an issue with the thyroid gland since this product can worsen it. I was shocked to see that in English version of the manual, they have just left a blank space where this information should appear.


Now comes the saddest part. I tried calling up the customer care number that is there on the carton and whoever picks the phone will simply route me to a different guy or they will say that this is a separate department and we need to contact another number on contacting which you will never get to talk to a person who is knowledgeable about this product. After 2- 3 days or repeated calls, I got to speak to a manager who said that this is because they are using a cheap material and I can upgrade to a higher end model which will not cause any issue. I specifically asked him about why they have not mentioned it in English when they have it in the local language.


The poor guy was clueless about this. I would have wasted at least 50 bucks by calling up their customer care and various ’so called’ managers. At last I returned this stupid product to the store where I bought it. So, people if you think customer service is important, please stay away from this company.
