Hi all...since most people have chosen to write on the customer service, I thought let me write something on the product itself..so here it goes..Its been around 1 month that I have been using this product and the feelings are mixed. Let me write the pros and cons of it..
PROS
The suction power is decent and with the number of attachments that are provided, it is easy to clean the entire house and reach inaccessible areas as well.
The unit is easy to clean. The lower half opens into a small bucket where the dust and waste water accumulates and thus it is easy to rinse after house cleaning.
CONS
The suction power, though decent is not top notch, due to which you have to apply a little more power during cleaning. This is expected since the rated power itself is low as compared to Euroclean ACE. The salesman explained this to be due to the lack of a dust bag. Overall I feel that for this amount of money, the suction power should have been the best.
I am allergic to dust and thus wanted to buy a VC with a paper bag. However, in this model, there still is a bag used to protect the engine from the dust to which the dust sticks. This again has to be brushed once in a while which is very inconvenient. Wish EF would have thought of it!
The plastic material used in body and the attachments feels thin. I am not sure if they will be durable for a very long time. Maybe this was done so that the replacement cost of any of the attachment is low, but still it gives a cheap feeling.
Overall, it is not such a great value for money (Rs 9990!) but is a good device for those who don’t mind spending the extra buck and want to do away with the hassles of keeping a maid.
P.S. - I havent had to undergo the experience of dealing with EF after sales service still, so can’t comment on that. People are most welcome to ask questions on the product in the comments column, and I will try my best to answer them..
