Allow me to save you from a costly mistake (and a very thirsty household). I was foolish enough to fall for the glossy advertisements and the over-promising sales pitch of the Aquaguard Slim Glass RO+UV+TA unit. Health. Purity. Safety. Lies. Lies. And more lies.
Lets rewind. I raised a service request CM-020625-52315100 on June 2nd, 2025, for bad taste and sky-high TDS levels. These are not minor issuestheyre the basic reason anyone invests in a water purifier, unless of course youre buying one as a shiny kitchen showpiece to impress guests.
They promise a 24-hour resolution. How quaint. Were on Day 4 now, and Ive had more success getting responses from pigeons than from their customer care. When I did manage to speak to someone, I was greeted with the warmth and politeness of a grumpy cat. One rep even cut the call right on my face, perhaps mistaking me for someone asking for a loan, not just safe drinking water.
A technician finally graced us with his presence, checked the TDS (960 in, 200 outstill too high), and declared that the filters are dead. Cause of death? Unknown. Lifespan? Not even 50% of what was promised. But heres the kicker: they want me to pay for new filters or buy an AMC, even though the unit is still under warranty.
Let me repeat: under warranty. Less than a year old. Barely used. And they still want me to shell out money for their manufacturing failure? Thats not just bad servicethats borderline scam behavior.
So, unless you enjoy endless emails, ghosted service requests, rude customer support, malfunctioning filters, and the privilege of paying extra to fix a problem that shouldnt existDO NOT BUY AQUAGUARD.
This brand sells itself on purity, but the only thing pure about this experience was the unfiltered audacity.
