Worst & Poor customer service

I’m from Delhi and I purchased water purifier EUREKA FORBES REVIVA on May 27, 2012 for Rs. 12, 500.00. It just worked a single day as I just put it on for once and problem started the very next day and the product was useless for me immediately after a day of my purchase. It had several issues which is understandable as any product can have issues. But, the story is about the worst customer service these guys provide. I called them again and again and they just kept saying that they are taking my request on priority and they will attend my issue on priority and will send the best engineer to get my issue resolved. Nobody turned up for 5 days and no calls from them to follow-up. It was my frustration at peak at this point. I have paid for the product and I cannot get service for the product which stopped working the very next day.


I had to finally find contact no of my sales guy, he somehow managed to send an engineer to look at my issue and that after 6 days of my issue reported to EUREKA FORBES and he just managed to do somthing and got his hand off quickly. Don’t know what he did and gave his contact no said if the issue still comes back I can call him. Immediately after 2 days problem started again and I called up the same engineer he never turned up. I again called up customer service and nothing surprising, I had to call them up again and again and beg them to resolve my issue, I specifically stated my issue on call to the rep....Now, guess...an engineer comes to my place after 4 days and says some part needs to be changed which he do not have...I asked him why he doesn’t have the part as I clearly stated the issue with the rep on call...he said he was not informed about it is not responsible....Now, I have to wait for another couple of days to get somebody to replace the part and am not sure if that will solve the purpose for me.


I spoke to the sales head of the region and he said, he asks me to wait for another time to see if they can resolve my issue, if not then they can replace my product....I do not have any more patience and do not want to wait any longer and be pushed like a football from one hand to another between the sales guy, the customer rep, engineers and sales head....I have completely lost faith in the company and most importantly to its worst ever service I have ever experienced and would like to get my product replaced immediately.....If somebody can do this for me it’s good else I have stopped the next cheque payment and will only pay them the remaining amount only when its replaced.


I’d also like to take this matter to legal body and file for consumer court intervention if this is not resolved with immediate effect....I’ll warn all EUREKA FORBES product buyers to read this review thoroughly and then make up your mind whether you would like to experience the same treatment as I have been. I have been mentally and financially harassed during the last couple of weeks and I think am paying a big amount by purchasing a product from EUREKA FORBES which I really regret at this point and will never recommend it to anybody to my people in network and even to those whom I do not know personally...
