We bought this product after using the Wet and Dry vacuum cleaner for 6 years. The Wet and Dry vacuum cleaner is a workhorse and never lets you down even after 6 years.
However, we were greatly disappointed at the performance of this product. After unboxing the product works great for a week but then strangely the suction power progressively reduces to a state that it is as effective as a broom.
Flipkart replaced the first unit promptly(under 30 days replacement), but within a few weeks the suction power of the replaced unit started to decrease as well. My feeling is that this product has an inherent design flaw.
Now, it a constant struggle to get Eureka Forbes folks to attend to the service request. After registering the complaint/service request, the service technician hasn’t shown up yet even after 10 days. I tried to follow up with the customer care but they have a standard response "We will send a technician in the next 24 hrs."
Interestingly, they have an escalation mechanism documented on the website, but the service request ID that the customer care provides doesn’t work on the website. It is a nice mechanism to hoodwink prospective buyers.
