There have been movies which made you smile. There have been movies which made you giggle. There also have been movies which might have made you laugh hard . but there has hardly been a movie as grossly misplaced in its existance as this that it will throw you into fits of laughter and keep you that way its entire 2 hours of running. Yes, many folds funnier than the likes of Scary Movie series and the American Pie movies, one thing is for sure that a trip like that is not easy to forget.
A trip which begins after Scott Thomas, dumped by his girl friend, decides to embark on this journey for love for one Mike( pronounced as MIka in German . a comman female name) . a journey of Europe . a Eurotrip. Joined by their friends Cooper, Jeny and Jamie(twin brother and sister), they together go on a journey of a lifetime.
This is one movie where you might not be able to recognise many actors or actresses by their faces but while watching the movie you will be too busy laughing to bother about it.
Rated R for its nudity, language and drug and alcohol use its a definite no no for kids and the elderly for one reason - they will not be able to appreciate it. But that hardly prevents the mass from rushing into watching it.
It has some real funny sequences, so funny that tears would roll off yours eyes. The likes of Scotty’s fight with the robot in Paris, the episode with the Italian homosexual on the train( all he said was Bon Journ and Mi Scuzi . whatever that meant!), the scene in England where they justify to soccer hooligans that they are Manchester United fans from Ohio, the scene where Cooper in his urge to have some errotic pleasure ends up with a bad sexual episode with Madame Vandersexx played by Luci Lawless and her assistants, the scene in the pub after all 5 agree that the alcohol was not having any effect on them . i.e. the 4 friends and a fairy, were a few of may such funny incidents.
The movie featured an awesome soundtrack sung by Lustra called " Scotty doesnt know ". Its themedium the band owner chooses to let Scott know that his girfriend Fiona was cheating on him.
It is one DVD I am going to add to my collection thats for sure.
