Everlasting Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

Hello,

I read your review and found it interesting. I had always wanted to write an article on him but couldn’t do so. Anyway as far as his faviorate qawalli and song goes, I bet it will take almost 2 page to write that. And also it will just be my faviorate not of all persons.

Anyway I will try to write some of my faviorates(other than what u already have mentioned)

Qawaali

1. Aaj rung hai ree maan rung hai ree (lyrics amir khusro)...

comments.. this is actually a traditional qawaali and sung by many artists. In bollywood it’s been used in Maqbool (sultan khan sang a bit of that)

1. Man kunto maula (in the praise of Ali)

comments: traditional sufi qawwali..(amir khusro)

1. hum apni shaam ko jab najre-jamm-karte hain
