This is a very fine comedy. The mail protagonist Ray Barone is the writer as well. Then there is his wife Deborah, his parents Frank and Marie who live across the street with his elder brother Robert. Ray has 3 kids Ally and two twin boys Jeffery and Michael. This show is on Star World on Mondays at 6 pm and 10:30 pm.
It is not exactly a slap stick comedy and not exactly a refined one. But it is enjoyable none the less. Ray and Deborah are wary of Ray’s parents who keep on popping in their home on one pretext or the other. Frank always has one or the other weirdo ideas and Marie is severely critical of Debra (especially of her cooking). Robert always has an inferiority complex about his brother. He feels Raymond is more loved by his parents and all others in general. He is jealous of him and from that do we get the name of the series.
This serial gives you a very homely sense of comedy. The characters get close to your heart and you enjoy the weirdness of each character as you keep on watching. This show also highlights the awkwardness in relations that we face on a daily basis.
Overall this is a must see.
