I had purchased a 3 and 2 seater sofa from JP nagar Evok outlet Bangalore 2 years before by paying 59000 rupees, they had delivered the piece which was not in a good condition(was full of grease on the 2 seater sofa), after complaining they replaced with a new one within 20 days.
From past one month a black powder is dropping from the sofa which is stitched below the sofa, I raised a complaint by calling the Evok customer care on 9th of November 2016 and 2 technicians came to check on 11th November, they said that they have to stitch a new cloth, when I asked the reason of the damage to the Evok technician, he said they had not stitched with good quality of cloth during manufacturing the product, I was surprised with his response, and he said we will repair it soon in 2 days and gave me a job card with a point of contact details, after that I haven’t heard back from the customer care nor the point of contact is receiving our calls, I visited the JP nagar outlet where I purchased the Sofa, the floor supervisor Mr. Dhananjai spoke so rude to us saying that he can’t do anything once the product is sold from the outlet, and the fabulous advise he gave us was that "It was our responsibility to check the black cloth which is stitched below the sofa". They care for customers only until we purchase the product, post that they will not even be ready to listen to you.
Until now no one has responded stating when they can repair the sofa, I would request never ever buy products from Evok.
