All we wanted was a bed. We liked one at EVOK, Sarjapur. The salesman there repeatedly assured us that we will get it within a weeks time. They just have to get it from the warehouse. We were asked to make 100% payment upfront.
Sadly, we are not used to such suave con-artists in the organized retail industry. Its been over 2 months and we have not got the bed. We called them to cancel the order and the manager said that any refunds are not company policy. To top it all, on contacting the regional manager with our dilemma, he asked us to ’Go to hell!’ We are fed up of running from pillar to post and making endless calls to senseless zombies who don’t know whether they are coming or going!!!!
We have decided to take drastic measures against them. We strongly suggest that people DO NOT buy/choose any product from EVOK... actually, DO NOT even visit the store. Go and visit ’@Home’ or ’HomeStop’ or if possible, live without any furniture!!!
