Never ever go in for a Exatt. They would promise the sky and dont even know the basic fundamental behind broadband.
I got a 128 K line from Exatt and I stay at Thane. The whole story began like this:
I first had a 128 K line of Pacenet which maps your computers MAC address to the user name. So when my PC is configured to use Pacenet, I cannot use my laptop. Now I got a wireless Internet sharing router from the US and the great Pacenet people refused to support me. They even refused to give basic details like Connection Name required to configure a PPPoE setting.
Having pissed off with Pacenet, I decided to go in for Exatt. But boy, was I mistaken.....
It was like coming out of a well and drowning in a sea.
The service gave me an uptime consistently of 15 days a month :(
Can someone imagine a broadband line which is supposed to be up at all times, providing service for only 15 days....
Well, yesterday, I get a call from their office and tell them that the service this time is down for a month. The cable operator says its a fault at Exatt end and Exatt says its a fault at the cable operator end. I am left stuck in between. On top of that, the Exatt guy has the balls to ask me to renew the package by paying the full amount. I told him FO...
Now I have applied for MTNL triband and hope for a regualr uptime if nothing else.
