Ive had an amazingly bad and ridiculous experience at both Yamaha service centres, so jus sharing my experience.I have a Gladiator which is still in production presumably or atleast theyre still selling them and it takes 1 Month to wait for spares!I Month!Staff Courtesy is 0.My bike had had an accident, so I called up this guy and asked him if I can bring the bike tomorrow, he said "yeah yeah".
I reach there next day with great pains cos the bikes not in proper condition and all, and hes like now ill see wat all parts u need then itll take time for me to order these parts, so u can take ur bike now and come later.Im like wat the hell, why cant u keep the bike here?its almost impossible to drive it, hes like not even trying to find a solution, and basically tells me its not his problem. It took me more than a month basically to get it repaired. My second encounter wasn pleasant either.
This time not Excellent Yamaha but Yamaha Factory Showroom, Malad.I have my free service there, i called to reschedule it and tat was done, i then told him see I need these two parts can u keep them ready tat day?he says no.i thot he must have got something wrong so I repeated and he said no we cant do tat, only when u give ur bike for servicing can I order fr parts, and then hes like dont worry mostly the parts will be there. This is downright stupid because frm past experience ive seen the parts wont be there.I understand they don wanna waste inventory, but making the customer suffer is not the solution, get better inventory managers u morons! The shameful thing is the bike is so good, but I have to go through a lot for any sort of repairs. Please Please keep the after sales service of Yamaha in mind and then buy it, i didn and am suffering for it.Prateek
