Incapable of picking up the phone, and when they do are unaware of how to complete any request. Through gross incompetence when you try to cancel/modify you are effectively robbed of money as they are incapable of processing this request. When later you try again they have the gumption to say’well you should have called us’. Yes, we did! But you hung up half way through/never picked up after 1.5 hours waiting/never called back etc. Utterly calamitous.
We are now in a position where our return flight from Istanbul has been cancelled with no explanation. No refund has been offered and any new flights we book independently are four times as expensive. We are still trying to resolve this after trying almost daily over the last week to contact Expedia.
Avoid expedia like the plague.
