Generally I book hotels thorugh Makemytrip.com, but as Expedia was offering more discount on the selected Goa hotel, I booked the hotel through Expedia this time. The booking was instant without any hassles. Generally all the websites mentions that ’Your reservation is confirmed and there is no need to contact hotel’, but I always contact the hotel after 2 days of booking just to counter check and avoid last minute surprises. I found that the booking was available at the hotel.
I got it at much cheaper rates compared to ’Makemytrip.com’. On the day of traveling, due to bandh like situation in Mumbai, I contacted their customer support to see the possibility of rescheduling the booking. The support agent was quite helpful and understood the genuineness of my request immediately. She tried her level best to help me. However later on I traveled as planned without any issue.
I will not hesitate to book again on Expedia
